The New RT Weddings Logo

After almost two years of trading as RT Weddings I have finally found the time to improve the logo. I wanted the new logo to reflect my values and make a statement which is modern, casual, friendly, professional and easily recogniseable. I felt the previous logo was too modern, corporate and techy looking and simply didn’t reflect those values.

Below is a mock up of how my next advert will look. I am always striving to improve RT Weddings in all aspects of the business, from the composition of my photography to the technology that can assist me in my workflow with the aim to producing the best quality and value for money service that I can.

For my latest magazine advert I have decided to go for a more informative piece which will make for an interesting read as opposed to just sales jargon. As a wedding photographer based in Hertfordshire and covering Essex, this advert shall appear in An Essex Wedding and Your Herts & Beds Wedding magazines. RT Weddings Advertisement for July

This is my latest magazine advert for the next issue of Your Herts & Beds Wedding magazine and An Essex Wedding magazine. I try to change the design every issue to keep things looking fresh.

The advert should symbolise the fun of the day as well as the stylish nature of the photography.

I am always keen to change the style and ideas for my advertising and as an ex-graphic designer always put these together myself using Adobe Photoshop CS (http://www.adobe.com). Although I have experience with QuarkXpress (http://www.quark.com/) and Adobe Illustrator, I now find Photoshop can do everything I need quickly and easily. With my latest halfpage advert for “Your Herts & Beds Wedding” (June/July 08) edition and “An Essex Wedding” (July/August 08) magazines I have chosen to go with a more minimalist approach in comparison to my previous designs and utilise some of my evening portraiture shots which reflect the emotion and fun aspect of the celebration.
