September 27, 2010 on 12:57 pm | In Customer Weddings Revealed | No CommentsA couple of weekends ago, I photographed the wedding day of Sarah and Pete’s which took place at Broxbourne Registry Office and Nazeing Golf Club near Broxbourne (www.nazeinggolfclub.co.uk) in Essex.
Arriving at the brides home nice and early, I captured the pre-wedding moments and accessories.
I moved on to Broxbourne Registry Office where I met up with the Groom and the best man a few minutes before the Brides arrival. She was arriving in style on a horse and carriage.
We had a few moments after the wedding ceremony to take a few photographs in the gardens of the Registry Office before moving on to Nazeing Golf Club.
After taking all of the group photographs and romantic shoot with the couple it was then time for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
After the meal I was on hand to take portraits and a few more group shots on request.
The couple then had their first dance.
I really enjoyed photographing Sarah and Pete’s wedding, but there was one more special shot I wanted to take for them.

Wedding Photography at the Barns Hotel Bedford
September 11, 2010 on 11:11 pm | In Customer Weddings Revealed | 2 CommentsOn Friday I photographed Kim and David’s wedding at the Barns Hotel Bedford (www.barnshotelbedford.co.uk).
I arrived at the Barns Hotel on a very wet morning, but the forecast was due to improve. I met up with the bride for the pre-wedding photographs.
As the groom and the best men were also getting ready at the hotel I caught up with them for some pre-wedding shots.
It was then time for the wedding ceremony which took place in the main barn.
As the weather had dryed, we went outside where I took the group photographs as well as lots of casual expression shots.
I then borrowed the couple from their guests and took them for a romantic shoot utilising the stunning locations at the Barns Hotel Bedford.
After the receiving line, it was time for the wedding breakfast, the speeches and ofcourse the cutting of the cake.
I took a few more special photographs with the bride and groom before the first dance.
I really enjoyed my time with Kim and David, and I must say the Barns Hotel Bedford is a wonderful wedding venue. I especially liked the uplighting on the outside of the barn which allowed for some lovely evening portraits.

Wedding Photography at Bury Lodge in Essex
September 9, 2010 on 11:18 pm | In Customer Weddings Revealed | No CommentsLast weekend I photographed a wedding for Sue and Chris which took place at Bury Lodge, near Stansted in Essex. Bury Lodge (www.burylodge.com) has a huge barn which is a really stunning venue for weddings and evening parties. Although the gardens around the venue aren’t huge, there are a few scenic backdrops that can work well for photographs.
The bride had requested that rather than take pre-wedding photographs of her getting ready, I should meet up with the boys instead at a local pub.
At Bury Lodge the bride made an entrance as she arrived in a big red fire engine.
After the ceremony I took some casual shots of guests before starting on the formal group photographs.
I then took the bride and groom for a little walk around the venue for some romantic photographs.
All the guests then gathered round to throw the confetti.
It was then time for the meal which was followed by the speeches and the cutting of the cake.
The evening guests arrived and after the party was in full swing the couple then took to the dance floor for their first dance.
