Wedding Photography at Great Hallingbury Manor, near Stansted in Essex
December 6, 2009 on 6:11 pm | In Customer Weddings Revealed | No CommentsAt the end of November I photographed this wedding for Ella and Matt which took place at the lovely Great Hallingbury Manor wedding venue, near Stansted and Bishop’s Stortford, in Essex.

You may recall I photographed a wedding at Great Hallingbury last season, click here to view the blog post. I arrived at Great Hallingbury about two hours before the ceremony was due to start, and where the bride was getting ready.

As it was a winter wedding, I prepared for wet weather and was ready to capture shots indoors.

Luckily it stopped raining before the ceremony and I took some pre-wedding shots of the groom and his best men.

The ceremony room was very warmly lit and gave a real cosy feel to the shots.

After the ceremony we went outside for some casual shots and the formal group shots and amazingly the sun came out!

I captured some great confetti shots and the expressions through out.

I then took the couple around the grounds of Great Hallingbury Manor for some romantic photographs.

It was then time for the wedding meal and of course the tradition of some speeches.

The couple weren’t fond of cake so they had cheese instead.

I continued capturing casual shots over in the marquee for the evening party and then it was time for the first dance and the live band to play.

Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and I had a great time too!

If you would like me to photograph your wedding day and tell the complete story from beginning to end then please do get in touch. I had one last shot to take before I left.
