Wedding Photography at The Mansion House in Clifton, Bristol
October 19, 2009 on 11:19 pm | In Weddings Revealed |On Saturday I photographed this wedding at the Mansion House in Clifton, Bristol for Sarah and James.
I was really pleased to be asked to photograph this wedding in Bristol as I always enjoy the prospect of photographing somewhere different. I arrived at the brides leaving location nice and early to capture the pre-wedding shots.
There was a small four legged friend who was very excited about all the new visitors in the house and I had to grab a shot.
After some family shots I left to capture the groom before the ceremony.
The bride arrived and I must say she did look stunning!
The registrar was very accomodating and I had a stage side seat for the ceremony to capture all the moments.
After the ceremony I captured some candid shots whilst drinks were being served, then after a small while we ventured outside for some group shots.
The Mansion House is a great wedding venue with a fine garden and great interiors to match. I made sure I captured the confetti!
It was time for a few more shots before we moved on to a special location.
I was extremely pleased when the couple requested a special photoshoot at Brunel’s world famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
The weather on the day was great for October!
We then went on to the reception venue which was the Aztec Hotel near Almondsbury.
I captured the speeches, cutting of the cake and the first dance as well as a few candid moments during the reception.
I had an amazing day photographing Sarah and James’ wedding day and evening. If you would like me to photograph your wedding then please contact me for an appointment.

Thank you Dean for making my daughter Sarah & son-in-law James’ day such a memorable one. Your photos are terrific, capturing the nuances of the moments without too much posing. You were an unobtrusive but commanding presence throughout the day, just what you need to have the day chronicalled appropriately. I would give my warm recommendation to anyone considering using your photographic service. Thanks again and very well done!
