Wedding Photography at Creeksea Place, Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex
August 25, 2009 on 1:30 pm | In Weddings Revealed |On Saturday I photographed this wedding for Nicole and Tim which took place at The Five Lakes Hotel, Maldon and then on to Creeksea Place, Burnham-on-crouch in Essex. I had the company of Steve on this job as a second photographer.
We arrived at the Five Lakes Hotel, Golf and Country Club nice and early, while Steve went to follow the guys, I covered the brides pre-wedding moments.
The bride, her mum and the bridesmaids all looked fantastic!
I took lots of natural photographs aswell as some lovely portraits.
The Five Lakes Hotel has got some lovely gardens and also great reception area which I utilised for photo opportunities.
Meantime Steve was already at Creeksea Place capturing the groom and best men. I then took the 40 minute journey to Creeksea Place to capture the brides arrival and the ceremony.
Creeksea Place is a lovely wedding venue with some amazing grounds, a beautiful stately home and the views are perfect!
After the ceremony it was time for some group shots and the setting was ideal.
After a short break enabling the couple to mingle and chat with their guests, we took them for some romantic shots down by an old bridge at the bottom of the garden.
Just enough time for a few more shots before everyone went in for the meal.
After the meal I borrowed the couple for a few minutes as I’d noticed an old gate which looked interesting.
I then captured the cutting of the cake and the first dance. I must say the marquee looked excellent!
We had a great time photographing Nicole and Tim’s special day and there was time for one last night shot using the floodlights at Creeksea Place. My thanks must also go to Anabel the wedding coordinator at Creeksea Place and also Christina the owner who were really helpful on the day and kept us looked after. Lovely photos! I really love the bridesmaid dresses - any chance of finding out where they were from?

Hi Natalie, I believe the Bridesmaid’s outfits were “Daniella by Alfred Angelo”.
