Wedding Photographer Website Update for RT Weddings
April 27, 2009 on 5:25 pm | In General Information | Comments OffI have made another update on the design of the RT Weddings website to freshen it up a little and maximise on the visual impacts. The previous design (veiw here) was using the RT Weddings purple a little too much which detracted from the photographs, so I’ve opted for a much lighter look and feel. I have also revised my package and pricing structure to make things a little easier for potential customers to understand.
All of the imagery on the site is now much bigger and better quality, after all it is my photography that I’m trying sell. The updated packages on offer should now cover the majority of customers budgets and they can also add on any additional requirements to each service. I have also trimmed down the copy as I thought it did waffle on too much!
There is also a slideshow within the products pages which displays the albums and products in a visual way. This should allow customers to get a good feel for the type and style of each album.
Although I was happy with my previous website, I am very happy with the improvements made in this new version.
Wedding Photography at the Ramada Grange, Winterbourne, Bristol
April 19, 2009 on 7:22 pm | In Customer Weddings Revealed | No CommentsAlthough the majority of work is wedding photography in Herts and Essex, this wedding took place at the Ramada Grange in Winterbourne, Bristol. I travelled down the day before so I could have a quick look around the venue before the wedding and was very pleased with what I saw.
Clare and Ian wanted an all day coverage of their wedding, right through to the first dance. The pre-wedding shoot also took place at the venue where the bride was getting ready and groom and best men were ready and waiting.
My good friend Martyn was my second photographer for the day enabling us to catch the action from many different angles throughout. We arrived approximately two hours before the ceremony which was a midday service. I captured the brides entrance from the front of the ceremony and really caught the emotion on camera.
The weather on the morning of the wedding was cloudy with lots of rain and this was in the back of my mind during the ceremony as I knew the weather would decide if the group photographs would be outside or not.
Luckily for Clare and Ian the rain had stopped during the ceremony and we were able to do the formal shots outside. The couple also had the resident toastmaster Dave Stallworthy who was great and really assisted thoughout the day.
I took the bride and groom for a little walk and we found some lovely locations for some of the more romantic shots and even had an unexpected visitor.
After some really great shots we returned to the hotel where the wedding breakfast was about to start.
We captured the speeches and cake cutting. As we still had plenty of time before the evening reception guests arrived and couple were game, we took them for a few more photos utilising some more of the fantastic locations in and around the venue.
Once the guests arrived and the party started, we took some evening portraits for the wedding guests before capturing the first dance. If you would like me to photograph your wedding or would like to book my dual photographer service then please get in touch.
We were just about to leave when we saw one more opportunity too good to miss, the venue was flood lit and with a bit of trickery involving a video light and pole we capture some fantastic night shots.
