Wedding Photography at Fanham’s Hall in Ware, Hertfordshire

My first wedding in 2009 took place at Fanham’s Hall in Ware, Hertfordshire. As a wedding photographer based in the Herts and Essex region I am always excited when a couple and venue like this comes along. Emma and Lewis wanted a mix of formal and casual photography throughout their wedding day from before the ceremony, right through to the first dance.

On this wedding I worked with a few familar faces. Steve came along as the second photographer and was really great to work with again. The videographer was Christopher Kennedy from C&H Video (http://www.chvideo.co.uk) who I worked with at Theobald’s last summer (read the blog article) and the toast master was Richard Palmer (http://www.thetoastmaster.co.uk) whom I have also worked with a couple of times. It is very reassuring to know you have a great team working alongside you and it really did make the day run very smoothly indeed!

I made sure we got a full coverage on the day capturing all the details of the wedding from start to finish.

The ceremony took place in the Great Hall at Fanham’s and was a really pleasant setting with lots of warm, moody lighting.

Fanham’s Hall is a great venue and aswell as boasting some magnificent rooms it also has some fantastic grounds, perfect for a photographer!

Richard the toastmaster was excellent and assisted in organising the guests for the formal group shots in a caring and happy manure.

After the couples romantic photoshoot they returned to their guests for the wedding breakfast and the speeches.

Being a winter wedding we made the most of the combination of dark evening and floodlit buildings to capture some stunning night shots.

We had just a few more photographic tasks to do including the first dance and a special Chinese lantern release!

The Chinese lanterns were a nice touch and a good time was had by all, and we finished up with some studio style portraits for the couple and their guests. If you would like me to photograph your wedding then please visit RT Weddings website for more information.
