November Wedding at Leez Priory
November 29, 2008 on 4:46 pm | In Weddings Revealed | No CommentsOne of the last weddings of the 2008 season for me took place at Leez Priory near Chelmsford in Essex. I was asked to take the role of 2nd photographer for my good friend and associate Steve on this wedding for Emma and Elliot. It was a crisp wintery day but did stay bright, but with a chill in the air.
I took my usual position during the ceremony which was up the front to enable me to capture the emotions and expression throughout.
The ceremony room in Leez Priory is in the Tudor Great Tower adjacent to the main house.
Making the most of the dry weather we did manage to grab some shots outside although didn’t keep everyone stood around too long as it was quite chilly.
I particularly like using doorways and archways for some really arty looking shots.
It was then time for the wedding breakfast and I must say the food at Leez Priory is fantastic!
After the meal and speeches there was a firework display and then the first dance.
We took the opportunity of taking some night shots as the buildings at Leez Priory are flood lit.
I really enjoyed photographing Emma and Elliots wedding day and it was a pleasure working with Steve again. If you would like to know more about RT Weddings and interested in me photographing your wedding day then please get in touch.

The New RT Weddings Logo
November 19, 2008 on 6:35 pm | In RT Corporate | No CommentsAfter almost two years of trading as RT Weddings I have finally found the time to improve the logo. I wanted the new logo to reflect my values and make a statement which is modern, casual, friendly, professional and easily recogniseable. I felt the previous logo was too modern, corporate and techy looking and simply didn’t reflect those values. CLICK FOR FULL STORY OF "The New RT Weddings Logo…"
Wedding Photography at Stoke Place
November 18, 2008 on 8:15 pm | In Weddings Revealed | No CommentsI was very pleased to be invited back to Stoke Place in Stoke Poges near Slough for my second wedding there of the season. This wedding for Jenny and Darren took place quite late on a Sunday afternoon in November. You may recall my last wedding at Stoke Place in back in August and Jenny contacted me after reading my blog article. Although I did take some pre-wedding shots outside the majority of work was taken indoors as it was dark by 4.30pm. This time Steve came and assisted me as the 2nd photographer and we certainly made a great team on the day.

Wedding Photography at Combe Bank School
November 16, 2008 on 2:27 am | In Weddings Revealed | No CommentsYesterday I was lucky enough to photograph another wedding with Steve, an associate photographer at a venue I hadn’t been to before. Cheryl and Luke’s wedding took place at Combe Bank School near Sevenoaks in Kent. As a wedding photographer for Herts and Essex I was keen to venture a bit further and photograph this wedding in Kent.

PR Photography for Focus New Media
November 7, 2008 on 8:02 pm | In General Photography | No CommentsAs a wedding photographer in Essex and Hertfordshire my core business revolves around the wedding season, but as the season quietens down I am often asked to take on other photographic assignments. I was contacted by the Bristol based web development company Focus New Media asking if I could take some PR shots as they have just opened a East of England branch in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.

A Gaynes Park Wedding in November
November 5, 2008 on 1:41 am | In Weddings Revealed | No CommentsAs my wedding season is now almost over I took the opportunity to work alongside my friend Steve, on one of his wedding bookings at Gaynes Park, Coopersale, in Essex. As a wedding photographer in Essex and Hertfordshire, and not having photographed there before, I was very keen to take on the challenge. The wedding was for Elizabeth and Franco and my brief was to capture a more casual side to their wedding.
