Wedding Photography at the New House Hotel in Cardiff, Wales

I don’t just restrict my wedding photography to just Herts & Essex, I am also willing to travel further a field. Having friends I could stay with in nearby Portishead, shooting a wedding in Cardiff was easy logistically. Natasha and Simon had their wedding at the New House Hotel over looking Cardiff.

As you can see the location is stunning, and the view across towards Cardiff was also pretty impressive too, so thought the Bride and Groom.

As with all the weddings I’ve taken in May, this was another with dry conditions, it was mainly overcast which is fine for wedding photography as harsh sunlight will cause more shadows and is a little more challenging.

As with all my wedding coverage I try to capture as many of the details as I can which can really symbolise the wedding day. Below are a selection from Natasha and Simon’s day.

There are also moments during the day that symbolise the wedding but are not necessarily posed.

There are always plenty of other happy snappers at the wedding taking the opportunity of capturing the moment and also the groups that I pose.

This is just a tiny selection of some of the coverage only the bride and groom usually get to see. The detail shots can be really important, especially when designing the albums or wedding books as they can really theme the final design. Another good days work, and I thoroughly enjoyed it too!
