RT Weddings Website Evolution
June 28, 2008 on 11:26 am | In RT Corporate | No CommentsI am proud to announce my latest website overhaul was successfully finished yesterday evening (27th June 2008). I have kept a similar theme, but made a few design enhancements to fit in with the current branding.
Eine Hochzeit in der Schweiz
June 26, 2008 on 5:37 pm | In Weddings Revealed | No CommentsEine Hochzeit in der Schweiz, or “a wedding in Switzerland” to the non-swiss speaking. Andrea and Reto were an absolutely fantastic couple and lucky for me both spoke excellent english. I was able to use a little of my german too which was fun. The wedding day venue was at a furniture architect showroom called Spectroom which provided a cosy ambience and was superb for their romantic photoshoot.
As you can see below, the wedding was a late one, with the ceremony starting at 4pm and it was probably for the best as it was an extremely hot, sunny day at 32 degrees! CLICK FOR FULL STORY OF "Eine Hochzeit in der Schweiz…"
RT Weddings Advertisement for July
June 25, 2008 on 4:30 pm | In RT Corporate | No CommentsThis is my latest magazine advert for the next issue of Your Herts & Beds Wedding magazine and An Essex Wedding magazine. I try to change the design every issue to keep things looking fresh.
The advert should symbolise the fun of the day as well as the stylish nature of the photography.

Business in Switzerland
June 20, 2008 on 2:17 pm | In General Photography | No CommentsI am very excited as I am in Switzerland for a wedding which takes place this coming weekend. I had a bit of time to see some of the sights of Zurich from the top of a forest close to where I am staying.
The walk up through the forest was great and should have loosened my legs ready for the wedding. CLICK FOR FULL STORY OF "Business in Switzerland…"
Another new venue to visit
June 16, 2008 on 6:08 pm | In General Photography | No CommentsOne of the great things about being a photographer is the constant availability of new locations which in turn provides new photographic opportunities. One of my weddings which I will be photographing in July takes place at Brickendonbury Conference Centre which by the name lead me to a vision of a modern, government style building which would have very little outdoor opportunities. How wrong was I! This venue is new to weddings but from my visit last week is a gem set deep in the Hertfordshire countryside in a recently restored, but very traditional country house. As for the grounds, I was very impressed and could visualise wedding photograph locations with ease!
The grounds were well maintained and whilst walking around the venue with the Bride and Groom it instantly became apparent that this would a great setting for their wedding day. CLICK FOR FULL STORY OF "Another new venue to visit…"
Because you’re Worth it!
June 12, 2008 on 9:02 am | In General Photography | No CommentsAs part of my wedding preparations, I usually visit the venues around 6 weeks prior to the wedding date to get an understanding of the layout and where the best photographic opportunities are. This visit can be with the couple if they wish, or I go and meet a key person from the venue who is aware of the couple’s format on the day. I feel it is important to do these preparations as it removes any uncertainties prior to the day.
Yesterday I went to Knebworth Barns, which is part of the Knebworth House estate for a pre-wedding visit. After a full tour of the location, I now have a much better understanding of how I can logistically arrange the wedding photographs. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and will provide me with an endless number of beautiful backdrops for the photography. Watch this space for a selection of photographs from the wedding day which will appear in a few weeks time. Below is just a taster of what’s to come.
