Wedding Photography at Newland Hall, Chelmsford, Essex
March 19, 2008 on 9:51 pm | In Customer Weddings Revealed | No CommentsI photographed this wedding a couple of seasons ago, long before I started putting this blog together. The wedding took place at Newland Hall near Chelmsford in Essex. The wedding was for Rosa and Nick who’s daughter Courtney was the flower girl.
I arrived early and took some photographs of the bride getting ready and also of the best man and ushers arriving. Then it was time for the ceremony.
The ceremony took place inside Newland Hall, we then moved outside for the group photographs before going into the marquee for the reception.
Newland Hall is a great location as it has a little bit of everything you need to make for a lovely looking wedding.
I captured the speeches and then took a few more casual shots as it was a beautiful summers evening.
I really enjoyed photographing Rosa and Nick’s wedding and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.

Wedding Photography at Queens College, Cambridge, Cambs
March 1, 2008 on 12:06 pm | In Customer Weddings Revealed | No CommentsLast year I was lucky enough to photograph this wedding at Queens College in the centre of Cambridge, alongside my good friend and fellow photographer Steve, for Jennifer and Marco.
Queens College is a fabulous location for a wedding as it has its own chapel, beautiful interiors and lots of grounds including the river Cam which runs parallel. We arrived nice and early, finding lots of possible locations for photographs. Whilst Steve concentrated on the bride getting ready I took photographs of the groom, best man and the ushers.
I saw this beautiful naturally framed shot and had to take it.
After the ceremony it was time for the group shots and I captured to some casual and natural photographs of the drinks reception.
It was a really fun afternoon and the couple were really great to work with.
We had a little bit of time to take the couple around for some romantic style shots.
Having the river Cam alongside the college made for some great photographs and the people punting up the river really did add to the moment.
It was then time for the sit down meal, and the hall inside the college was a fantastic setting. We then moved on to the The Royal Cambridge Hotel for the evening reception and first dance.
I really had a great time working with Steve, and it was a privelige to play a part in Jennifer and Marco’s wedding day. RT Weddings can offer a two photographer service at a very competitive rate, please visit http://www.rtweddings.co.uk for more information. I captured this lovely shot of the couple when they walked through the streets of Cambridge to the evening reception.
